Xelens Technologies d.o.o. (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in relation to the mobile app (“the App”) that runs on your iPad, as well as our website (“the Website”).

1. Data Collection on the Mobile App

We do not collect or store any personal data online. The information you input into the App, including any personal records or data, is stored locally on your device and remains under your control. While the App can access and interact with this data for the purpose of app functionality, we do not collect or store any of it remotely.

1.1 iCloud Backup (User-Controlled)

Although the App does not sync data through iCloud, you can choose to back up your iPad, including the App’s data, to iCloud as part of Apple’s device backup feature. This backup is managed entirely by you, and we do not control or access the iCloud backup. If you enable iCloud backups on your device, your App data may be included in that backup, depending on your iCloud settings, but we do not have access to any data stored in iCloud.

The App allows you to share your sessions, which are the format of the personal records you create and manage within the App. If you choose to use this feature, you are solely responsible for how and with whom you share these sessions. We do not have access to or control over any sessions shared outside the App. By using this feature, you agree to take full responsibility for any data you choose to share and ensure that you comply with any applicable privacy and security standards.

1.3 User Responsibility for Data Protection Compliance

As a user of this App, you are responsible for ensuring that any personal data entered into the App complies with applicable privacy laws and regulations. This includes obtaining explicit consent from individuals whose personal information you store, process, or share using the App. You should ensure that your use of the App adheres to privacy laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), or any other applicable data protection laws in your region.

We do not share any of the information you store in the App with third parties. All personal data is kept private and secure on your device, except for the sessions you may choose to share through the App.

1.5 Security

While we do not collect personal data, it is important for you to ensure your device is secure. We recommend using password protection or other security features on your iPad to safeguard your data. Additionally, if you share any sessions or enable iCloud backups, we encourage you to follow appropriate security practices to protect your data and ensure that it is shared only with trusted parties.

1.6 Data Retention

As the data is stored locally on your device, the retention of this data is entirely at your discretion. You can delete any personal records or data directly from your device at any time. Shared sessions may be stored on the devices or platforms of the recipients, and we have no control over how long they retain or use the data. iCloud backups are also managed by you, and data stored in backups may be retained according to your iCloud settings.

1.7 Data Deletion

You have full control over the data stored in the App. You can delete individual sessions or multiple selected sessions directly from your device at any time. This action removes the data from your device permanently and it will no longer be accessible within the App.

Please note that if you have shared sessions with others or if they are included in an iCloud backup, those copies will not be affected by the deletion on your device. iCloud backups occur periodically, and deletions made in the App may not be reflected in the backup until the next scheduled backup. If you restore your device from an iCloud backup after deleting data, the deleted data may still be present, depending on the timing of the last backup.

2. Data Collection on the Website

Our Website does not collect any personal data unless you choose to contact us via email. If you choose to contact us, you may provide us with your email address, and we will use that solely to respond to your inquiry or communicate with you. We do not use your email address for any other purpose, and we do not share or sell your email address to any third parties.

3. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, Website, or legal requirements. If we make any material changes to this policy, we will notify you on the Website or through other communication channels.
